However, you need to listen to all of them, as the Avoca Units automatically use LCFA when responding in Luzerne Cty. In addition to Life Flight, at least 2 other services work NE PA when requested, usually through protocol. I have confirmed the following: 155.3850 U. of Penn. PennSTAR WNNI922 PL100.0 Dispatch/Operations 155.2200 University MedEvac KNJP460 PL136.5 Dispatch/Operations PennSTAR is supposed to have a transmitter in Dunmore (Lackawanna) and PENN ARGYL (NORTHAMPTON). I can't tell which one I am receiving, but I suspect it is PENN ARGYL. PennSTAR 5 is based in Lehighton, and is usually the one in our area, but have also hear PS-4 out of Allentown. The birds also communicate on LCFA as well as Geisinger 155.16 MEDEVAC LEHIGH VALLEY HOSPITAL CENTER has a transmitter in Allentown, which I can not always hear. However, MedEvac 7 is based Joe Zerby Schuykill Airport and can be heard often. The birds also communicate on LCFA as well as Geisinger 155.16 Here is more info: home.comcast.net/~benandchrisie/medhelos.htm

As of a few months ago the name University Medevac is dissolved. Lehigh Valley & Hannehman have split. LVH is now Lehigh Valley Medevac and Hannehman is Mid Atlantic Medevac. (per nyclt422 on Lehigh County Forum ) LVH has - Medevac-1 - Kutztown
- Medevac-2 - Stroudsburg
- Medevac-4 - Weatherly
- Medevac-7 - Pottsville (wrecked)
Per WNEP, According to Lehigh Valley Hospital, MedEvac service will return to the Pottsville helipad sometime this week. LVH Medevac will use LifeComm Dispatch on 464.200 PL 107.2 , but we will mostly hear them on the input 469.200 PL 107.2. I've also heard 82.5 PL, so I would not program a tone just yet. This is their dispatch channel, but they always switch to local frequencies, such LCFA, for LZ communications. MidAtlantic (Hahnemann) MedEvac. still uses 155.220(136.5), but they are usually in our area on inter-facility transfers only. - Medevac-3 - Limerick
- Medevac-6 - Limerick
- Medevac-8 - Lancaster
