I am not getting ANY Luzerne Cty PennDOT traffic. Here's what I do get: 47.3000 Base PA. D.O.T. District 3 (F1) Columbia, Lycoming, Montour, Northumberland 47.3800 PA. D.O.T. District 3 47.2800 PA. D.O.T. Eastern PA This is supposed to be Luzerne 47.0600 District 4 - Lackawanna, Luzerne 47.0800 District 4 - Lackawanna, Luzerne
I looked at the antennae on the local trucks, and it looks like UHF. I have tried the FCC listed UHF for a couple of days with no luck.
I live in Mtop, so I should get lots of Dist 3 traffic. I don't have PL capability, so that is not the problem. Can anyone confirm Luzerne freq's?

Others have informed me that OpenSky antennae are 6" with coil(1/2 wave), so it is certain that Luzerne & Lackawanna have converted.

Hey I too have put in those frequences and I am not hearing any action for the luzerne county section. Does anyone have any other ones that work or the new ones or where to get the new ones?

Sorry, There are no scanners capable of receiving "ClosedSky" There is some thought that the lack of communication between SP(not on Open Sky), and PennDOT may have contributed to the slow response to understanding how bad the interstate roads were this week.
