I have a Radio Shack PRO-106 that iss driving me nuts. That's the wave of the current scanners from all manufacturers: Bankless. It takes some getting used to. My recommendation is software. This not only makes the programming easier, but helps you understand the various features of the radio. Here is a list: wiki.radioreference.com/index.php/Object_Oriented_Scanner_Software I prefer ARC500, but win500 is getting some good press.

RE Radio Shack Pro-106
I have a glitch in the start up menu. I put a search in the object menu that I can't get rid of. Otherwise it is a good scanner.

This may help you: marksscanners.com/106_197/106_197.shtmlAnother thought is to read from scanner all customer searches so you can see which one needs to be eliminated, and then send to scanner all searches minus that one. As a last resort, there should be a system reset command that will wipe everything out. Then you can reload from ARC500 what you want. Not sure what that command is for RS.

Greetings Fellow Scanner Enthusiast,
My name is Mark, Amateur Radio Operator WN3SIX, I live in Nanticoke, PA.
I was wondering if you may be able to direct me to any website where I can obtain a list of Luzerne County scanner frequencies that list not only the normal scanner frequency information but also the various repeater splits, e.g. not only the OUTPUT FREQUENCY of each agency but ALSO their associated INPUT FREQUENCIES. I have gleaned the PL codes from existing lists but I am in need of their associated repeater INPUT frequencies.
Any help along these lines would be most appreciated. I work with various agencies as a technician and having this information would be most helpful for technical reasons, nothing illegal of course.
Thank you in advance for any assistance you may be able to provide !
Best regards, Mark...
